To use the words of NZ Herald: "Whether you're dining in a restaurant or a hospital, chances are much of the food on your plate got there thanks to distribution company Bidfood." Bidfood's Invercargill distribution centre provides the company with 500 square metres of (double story) office space and 3500 square metres of storage, with some of the produce housed in chillers and freezers.

When Plumbing World Invercargill was completed in 2017, the collaboration between McCulloch Architects and Barry Stewart Builders was deemed so successful that Plumbing World started using this design to model other stores and showrooms after it.
